All students in Burlington Public Schools are entitled to free breakfast and lunch at their school. Breakfast for the following day will be included with lunches ordered.
Please be sure to contact your school cafeteria if your child has an allergy!
Full-time remote students:
- Contact your school cafeteria manager to arrange pick up for breakfast and hot lunch.
In-person elementary & middle school students:
- Order through your classroom teacher.
- Elementary meals are delivered outside of the classroom door before dismissal.
- Middle school meals are delivered to their classes at designated times.
In-person high school students:
- Students/parents can pre-order lunch/breakfast on the high school website. Orders must be placed no later than 9 a.m. on the day of the purchase. All fields must be completed with selections for lunch/breakfast.
- Meals will be placed on the student's assigned seat prior to their lunch period.
- On half-days, lunch will be available for pick up outside of the cafeteria.
- If you receive a message saying that this page is no longer accepting orders, please contact Marylou Govoni, high school manager, at 781-270-1885 to place your order.
On Wednesdays:
- Pre-packaged uncooked meals will be available outside of the cafeteria entrance for pick up from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at BHS for all children town wide between the ages of 0-21 who are not attending school and wish to receive meals.
- Please remain in your car and a cafeteria staff member will assist you.
- You must place your order weekly by clicking this link Pre-Packaged Meal Order Form or by going to the BPS website, food service section. All orders must be placed by Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.

In the event of school closure:
- Pre-packaged meals will be available for pick up from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at BHS and Marshall Simonds Middle School, outside of the cafeteria entrances. Please remain in your car and a cafeteria staff member will assist you.
- You must place your order weekly on the Pre-Packaged Meal Order Form or by going to the the BPS website, food service section. All orders should be place by Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.
- Due to circumstances beyond our control, this could change.
- Burlington Food Pantry will be available for food pick up during weeks of school closure, December break, February break, April break, and summer.
