Burlington Public School Summer Enrichment Program
Imagine The Possibilities…
Our teachers are already preparing an exciting and researched-based curriculum for the summer of 2023. Inspiring young readers and thinkers through project-based learning is our primary focus. The summer program offers students an opportunity to maintain academic skills, interact with students from across the district, and expand their imagination through creativity. In addition to the grade level thematic projects, the “Robotics” curriculum designed by the Burlington Science Center will now be part of the curriculum for all students enrolled.
Grade K Imagine the possibilities and create your very own… Robot.
Grade 1 Imagine the possibilities and create your very own… Puppet Show.
Grade 2 Imagine the possibilities and create your own… Game.
Grade 3 Imagine the possibilities and create your own… Masterpiece.
Grade 4 Imagine the possibilities and create your very own… Travel Destination.
Where: Memorial Elementary School
When: Monday - Thursday
8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Session 1 only: July 10 - July 20 Fee: $300
Session 2 only: July 24 - Aug 3 Fee: $300
Session 1 & 2: July 10 - Aug 3 Fee: $525
Students are strongly encouraged to attend all four weeks to maximize academic consistency and social development. However, the opportunity to attend one session is available.
At the time of registration, a non-refundable deposit ($25) should be made payable to Burlington Public Schools and sent to the attention of Rosemary DeSousa at Central Office. Financial Assistance can be made available upon request for families experiencing hardship. A financial aid application will be included with registration.
Be on the lookout for a district-wide email from Central Office with a registration form on March 17. Consider making this summer one to remember and join our creative team as we imagine the possibilities!
