BECC School Closure/Delay Information
School Closures:
If the Burlington Public Schools are closed due to weather or any other reason, school is canceled for all grades, Preschool-Grade 12.
If a 2-hour delay is called for the Burlington Public Schools, please use the following guidelines for the BECC:
Morning sessions are canceled for the Puppy Pals, Lucky Ducks, Spunky Monkeys, and Busy Bees. So if your child is dismissed at 11:10 AM, they do not attend school on delayed openings.
If your child is in the Outstanding Owls, Cub Cadets, or the Barnyard Buddies, your child will have school from 10:10 AM to 12:10 PM.
All afternoon students will attend their afternoon session if there is a 2-hour delay in the morning.
