This closet is a resource for any Burlington Public Schools student or their family member who is in need of gently used/new clothing, such as coats, pants, shirts, socks, pajamas, or shoes, school supplies, and personal hygiene items.

BHS Students

WHO WE ARE

The Cambridge Street Closet aims to create a safe space for all students to shop for donated clothes regardless of their identities. The Cambridge Street Closet possesses several racks and bins of donations, including baby clothes, boys’ and girls’ clothes, mens’ and womens’ clothes, and various hygiene products. Since its founding in January of 2023, directors Renee Dacey , a Spanish teacher at Burlington High School, and Rosemary DeSousa, BPS Central Office administrative assistant, have maintained the Cambridge Street Closet.

If you know of any students who are in need of any of the above supplies or who have additional needs, please feel free to contact us or bring the students directly to the Cambridge Street Closet.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the BHS Life Skills class and the Evening Academy for donating their time to organize the donations received from the organization, HELPIS, and community members.
